I grew up in a big blended family with 13 kids, and as you can imagine, every day was an adventure. We spent our days running through fields, catching bugs, playing make-believe, getting messy, and finding joy in the little things. From a young age, I learned the importance of family, gratitude, creativity, and making the most of what you have.

I married my high school sweetheart and am now the proud mom of two silly, creative, wild boys who remind me every day just how magical childhood can be. That's what inspired me to write Little Boys Need To Play.
